Homicide detectives investigating woman's death in Bell
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at a home in Bell.

BELL, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at a home in Bell.

Police officers were sent to the home in the 6600 block of Pine Avenue Thursday morning for a welfare check on a woman who had not been heard from for several days. They found a deceased woman in the home and called in sheriff's deputies around 8:30 a.m. to assist with the investigation.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's department.

Officials did not immediately provide the woman's identity. They said she was wrapped in a blanket and they have not yet determined what, if any, injuries she suffered.
