Two people in a stolen vehicle led police on a wild chase through freeways and surface streets from Riverside to Covina Monday morning, authorities said.

The pursuit began at 3rd Street and Kansas Avenue in Riverside shortly before 6 a.m., according to Riverside police.

Authorities said a male driver was traveling at 80 mph on the westbound 210 Freeway before making his way to the 10 West. A male passenger was also in the stolen silver jeep.
