'Bad Moms' premieres
Mila Kunis plays a mother who lets loose in "Bad Moms."

WESTWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The stars of "Bad Moms" hit the red carpet on Tuesday for the premiere of the comedy that features overworked mothers letting loose a little.

The film stars Mila Kunis, Kathryn Hahn and Kristen Bell as three underappreciated mothers who just can't take it anymore and decide to take a break from their lives and have some fun.

It also stars Christina Applegate and Jada Pinkett Smith.

"We're freaking out trying to be perfect," Applegate said. "And this movie is about going it's OK if sometimes you're not."

The female stars were also celebrating the nomination that same day of the country's first major-party female presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.

Mila Kunis recalled meeting Clinton just a few weeks ago.

"I literally was just in awe of her life, of her experience and of everything that she brings," Kunis said. "And the fact we even have a female nominated is incredible."

"Bad Moms" opens in theaters Friday.
