Allegedly drunk teen drove because grandmother was too drunk
Sandra Bookman has the story.

SANTA FE, New Mexico -- Police in Santa Fe, New Mexico, pulled over an alleged drunk driver who was just 13 years old.

Officers said the reason why the teen was driving in the first place is because his grandmother in the backseat was too drunk to drive herself.

The grandmother was arrested on charges including child abuse.

The teen was also expected to face charges of driving while intoxicated and driving without a license.
