EXPOSITION PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Rams kicked off their first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys Saturday, and Eyewitness News was there to capture the excitement at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum.

Reporter Elex Michaelson got a bird's-eye view from the press box, including when the gates first opened to let eager fans in.

The Rams games will be held at the Coliseum during the preseason and season games this year until their Inglewood stadium is completed.

While fans witness history at the games, there are some new rules. Fans are only allowed to bring in clear bags to the stadium, and purses larger than the size of your hand cannot be brought in.

Parking is also limited at the stadium, but people are urged to use the Metro system. A stop is right near the University of Southern California campus, which makes for an easy walk to the venue.
