Celebrities welcome Rams, NFL back to LA
Celebrities are welcoming the Rams and the National Football League back to Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Rams returned to Los Angeles after more than two decades and quickly became the talk of the town, including among Hollywood celebrities.

Several stars told ABC7 Entertainment Guru George Pennacchio they've already nabbed their season tickets.

"I have never bought season tickets to anything in my life, I'm a Rams season ticket holder," Regina King, star of "American Crime" sang proudly.

While some of Tinseltown was happy to have the Rams return to L.A., others were just happy to have the National Football League back in the City of Angels.

"A lot of fans out here are really excited about the Rams coming back, I'm a Cowboys fan, so I'm excited about the prospect of getting to watch my Cowboys here in L.A.," Jay R. Ferguson, star of "The Real O'Neals," said.

Even though "Blackish" star Anthony Anderson is a die-hard Oakland Raiders fan, he said he was welcoming the Rams home.

"I am excited to get a team back in Los Angeles," Anderson said. "I grew up watching the Rams play. Eric Dickerson is a great friend of mine, watched him play as a kid growing up."

"So to have an NFL team here in the Los Angeles area I think will be good for the city, will be good for the league and will be good for us football fans here who have been without a team for quite some time now," he continued.

Marcus Scribner, Anderson's TV son on "Blackish," was excited too.

"The Rams are going to be my team now. I'm probably still going to be a Raiders fan, but when the Rams come here, I mean I got to support the home team as well," Scribner explained.

"Grey's Anatomy" star Jason George said he's all about the Philadelphia Eagles, but he's ready to cheer for the hometown team too.

"For the record, I am an Eagles fan, but, however, I live in Los Angeles and I'm raising my kids in Los Angeles. Believe me, I'm going to be up in that stadium and as long as they're not playing the Eagles, I'll be rooting for the Rams," George said.

"American Housewife" star Katy Mixon said football runs in her bloodline and can't wait for the Rams to kickoff in L.A.

"My daddy played football for LSU, so I'm like a huge football person, I mean the Saints because I'm from Louisiana, but I'm all for the Rams," Mixon said.
