Panda twin cubs born at Atlanta zoo

ATLANTA -- You could say it was a very special delivery for a zoo in Atlanta.

Panda mom Lun Lun gave birth to twin cubs on Saturday.

The cubs are the first giant pandas born in the United States this year and the second set of twins for the 19-year-old mother.

The cubs arrived less than an hour apart at Zoo Atlanta.

Giant panda cubs are born blind, almost hairless and a little larger than a cellphone.

The zoo said its focus now is making sure they have the best opportunity to success.
