15-year-old boy shot to death in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in South Los Angeles. His death was one of two fatal shootings in the same area.

Sheriff's officials said the teen was standing on the 1300 block of 92nd Street when he was gunned down around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Around the same time, authorities received a call about another shooting just a mile away at South Vermont and West 105th Street.

A 23-year old-man was shot in the head and killed.
