Man arrested on suspicion of kidnapping 7-year-old girl
San Bernardino police arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of dragging a little girl into a bathroom and nearly sexually assaulting her Tuesday.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- San Bernardino police arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of dragging a little girl into a bathroom and nearly sexually assaulting her Tuesday.

Authorities said the incident happened in the 1900 block of N. Arrowhead Avenue around 2:11 p.m. A 7-year-old girl had been waiting to use a bathroom at a medical center when a man in the bathroom grabbed her and forced her into the room with him.

The man is then suspected of lifting her clothes and putting his hands on her inappropriately. The little girl was able to run away from him unharmed and reported the incident to her mother, who then told clinic staff.

Police located the suspect, identified as Nolberto Gonzalez, and arrested him on suspicion of kidnapping with intent to commit sexual assault.
