Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley was featured on the 2016 NFL Preview cover of "ESPN the Magazine" and ABC7 was granted an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot.

The cover, with the headline "The Offense Strikes Back," features the University of Georgia product who's heading into his second year.

Gurley squeezed the photo shoot in during a half-hour break at training camp and it was intentionally physically intensive.

"We wanted something dynamic and aggressive, because this is the offense's response," celebrity photographer Eric Ray Davidson explained. "We kind of had this idea of being on the field and seeing that kind of richness and that pop."

The 22-year-old running back was a natural in front of the camera, showing that he may be getting comfortable under the lights in Hollywood.

Gurley was named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year after rushing for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns despite missing the first three games of the 2015 season.
