LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- There were frightening moments on board a Southwest Airlines flight after a blown out tire prompted an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport Monday night.

Flight 2634, headed to Nashville, Tennessee, had just taken off with 142 passengers on board when the tire blew.

Pilots returned the Boeing 737 to the airport, making a safe emergency landing just before 7:30 p.m.

No one was hurt, LAX officials confirmed.

Video sent to ABC7 by an Eyewitness News viewer showed passengers cheering and clapping once the plane got on the ground.

Everyone on board had to take a bus back to the terminal to wait for a new plane.

The new flight was expected to get to Nashville about four hours late, according to Southwest Airlines spokesperson Melissa Ford.
