Arleta woman's deaf bulldog stolen off her front porch

ARLETA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A thief stole an Arleta woman's deaf bulldog right off the front porch of her home. The culprit was recorded on surveillance video, speeding off on a bicycle.

Melissa Amezcua left her 1-year-old dog Ruby outside her home only for a brief moment before a morning walk.

When she came back out, Ruby was gone.

Surveillance cameras from Amezcua's neighbors recorded the thief as he raced away on a bicycle carrying Ruby.

Amezcua hopes the surveillance video will lead to the return of her beloved Ruby, who she adopted from an animal shelter.
