NEW YORK -- New video has been released in the attack of a 64-year-old man who died after being punched in the head in New York City back in June.

New York police said they hoped the newly released surveillance video would help them identify a man and a woman they were looking for in connection with the attack of Patrick Gorman.

Video appeared to show Gorman standing at Main Street and Queens Boulevard in Jamaica when a man punched him and knocked him to the ground around midnight on June 26.

Gorman tried to get up, but fell back down as the suspect walked away and was joined by the woman, who handed him a bag.

Gorman was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital before being moved to Jamaica Hospital, where he later died. His death was ruled a homicide.

"He's a nice guy," Gorman's neighbor John Rynkowski said.

Rynkowski who said Gorman lived by himself and was a big baseball fan.

"He goes to every city," Rynkowski said. "You name the city and he would go to them all. Philly, Baltimore."

One witness reportedly told detectives the victim pushed the woman first, prompting the man to punched Gorman in the face. It was unclear if the punch led directly to Gorman's death, as authorities said he had a stroke, several heart attacks and a history of preexisting medical conditions.
