Dodgers host 300 military personnel for batting practice on Veterans Day
The Dodgers on Friday hosted about 300 active-duty and former service members for batting practice at Dodger Stadium in honor of Veterans Day.

ELYSIAN PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- The Dodgers on Friday hosted about 300 active-duty and former service members for batting practice at Dodger Stadium on Veterans Day.

Accompanied by family members and friends, personnel from all military branches played catch in the outfield, toured the stadium and enjoyed some of its signature Dodger Dog hot dogs.

"It's an amazing experience," said Marine Anthony Formosa, "because when I was a little kid I remember coming here, watching the game with my dad. Now I'm here with my kids and reliving that experience."
