The Los Angeles Zoo kicks off its annual holiday light show known as "Zoo Lights" Friday night.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Zoo kicks off its annual holiday light show known as "Zoo Lights" Friday night.

This year, as part of the zoo's 50th anniversary, visitors will see more lights and more nights of the Zoo Lights. Starting Friday, and through Jan. 8, Griffith Park's L.A. Zoo sign will be aglow in LED lights.

There will also be a reindeer romp, which gives visitors a chance to see real reindeer and even two babies. Children can also visit Santa on select days and enjoy seasonal foods and gift items.

For more information on the romp and Zoo Lights, visit the zoo's website at www.lazoo.org.
