FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was arrested for committing sexual acts with a teenage girl in Fontana after lying to her about his age, according to authorities.

Fontana police they received a report about a man who took a 15-year-old girl to a park and performed sexual acts with her on Nov. 8.

The Fontana Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began to investigate after they said the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Jerrell Resnick, started sending the teen images of his genitals through social media.

Detectives took over the teen's social media account and said they arranged to meet with Resnick for the purpose of having sex.

Resnick was arrested when he arrived to the arranged meeting place on Jan. 17, officials stated.

Investigators said Resnick recently loitered near Summit High School and the Jessie Turner Center.

Numerous underage girls stated Resnick followed them and forcefully touched and kissed them, according to officials.

Police said Resnick was booked for child molestation.
