AGOURA HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- Two people were injured in a fiery crash involving a Ferrari in Agoura Hills on Friday.

The crash happened on Mureau Road east of Las Virgenes Road around 10 p.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, Edmond Aslin, 44, was driving a 2002 Ferrari with 28-year-old Jose Sierra as the passenger. The two were traveling at a high rate of speed when for unknown reasons the vehicle veered to the left and struck two trees within a grass center median, the CHP said.

The Ferrari caught fire and continued to travel into eastbound lanes, where it came to rest.

Aslin suffered major injuries, and Sierra suffered moderate injuries. The two were transported to West Hills Hospital.
