2 missing Jurupa Valley girls found unharmed

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Two girls who went missing on their way to school in Jurupa Valley two days ago have been found safe on Wednesday.

Investigators say 15-year-old Jessica Gallegos and 14-year-old Yahaira Guzman were found safe at a friend's home in Jurupa Valley.

The two girls were reported missing on Monday while walking to school on the 10000 block of 48th Street. Riverside sheriff's officials said they were headed to Jurupa Valley High School but never arrived.

Authorities said the two do not have a history of running away.
