VIDEO: Sinkhole swallows distracted driver in China

BEIHAI, China (KABC) -- This just might be the worst case of distracted driving ever.

It happened in the Chinese city of Beihai.

A traffic camera captured the moment the street collapsed, creating a sinkhole six feet deep.

Seconds later, a man on a scooter who appeared a little too involved with his smart phone drove straight into the gaping crater of a hole, head first, disappearing.

Incredibly enough, he suffered only minor injuries.
