LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- About 1,900 customers woke up without power Sunday morning in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews have been working around the clock to restore power to everyone in the Metro and Valley areas, and say outages have been sporadic.

As of 6:30 a.m., approximately 1,900 customers were impacted and it was unclear what time all power would be restored.

The outage comes after 1.5 million customers lost power this past week because of blackouts caused by high electricity demand.
