POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was airlifted to a hospital in critical but stable condition after being shot several times in Pomona early Sunday.
The shooting occurred in the 800 block of West Monterey Avenue at 3:55 a.m.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Alex Noriega. Pomona police say Noriega was shot in his left leg and left shoulder.
The male suspect allegedly knocked on the victim's door and then shot through the window, striking him. He was dressed in dark-clothing and wearing a mask.
The motive for the shooting remains unknown. No further information has been released.
