Drones soar in LA sky for Wonder Woman
Warner Brothers decided to do something different with the release of "Wonder Woman," using drones.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Let's face it, Blu-ray launches aren't exactly exciting events these days.

But Warner Brothers decided to do something different with the release of "Wonder Woman," using drones.

Three-hundred "Intel Shooting Star Drones" took to the sky as part of a synchronized light show, a twinkling digital galaxy floating above the LA skyline.

And every part of the show, from the all-female drone crew to the custom formations featuring Wonder Woman's iconic tiara, paid tribute to the character that has inspired millions.

Even the female cellist behind the film's theme song performed live.

And the drones even changed formations, spelling out power, then grace, then wisdom, before forming the Wonder Woman symbol and even silhouette of the superhero herself.

The Wonder Woman Blu-Ray is available for purchase next Tuesday, Sept. 19.
