Evacuations have been lifted for the Canyon Fire, which charred 2,000 acres along the border of Corona and Anaheim.

By Wednesday morning, the blaze was at 20 percent containment. It first ignited Monday afternoon near the eastbound 91 Freeway at Coal Canyon Road.

Fire activity has slowed thanks to aggressive ground and air activity and more favorable weather conditions, officials said.

All roads north of Green River Road and W. Foothill Parkway have reopened to residents with valid identification. Fire officials said access to these areas must be made using Serfas Club Drive and Paseo Grande.
