SoCal stores offer Black Friday deals 1 day early
While there are stores that are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, many opened early to give people a chance at some Black Friday deals.

BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- While there are stores that are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, many opened early to give people a chance at some Black Friday deals.

One of those stores is a Kmart in Burbank, which opened at 6 a.m. and will remain open until 10 p.m. Black Friday. The store will be open for 40 hours straight to give people a chance at many of the door buster deals offered throughout the two-day period.

Many shoppers camped out in front of the stores or came hours before it opened to be one of the first people to get a good deal.

Some shoppers said they came to get started on their Christmas shopping.
