Skirball Fire: List of evacuations, school, road closures

The Skirball Fire is leading to thousands of mandatory evacuations as well as road and school closures in the Los Angeles area.

Evacuations lifted:

As of 8:00 p.m. Thursday, residents in portions of the Skirball Fire evacuation area will be allowed to return home, Los Angeles police said.

--Roscomare will be open from Mulholland to Sunset for residents only. Note: You will not be able to drive west from Roscomare into neighborhoods from Mulholland to down to Bellagio.

--Bellagio will be open to residents only, however you can only access roads to the South from Bellagio.

--Bell Terrace and North Casiano Roads will be open to residents.

Please bring proof of residency if you are trying to access these areas.

Evacuation shelters:

-- Delano Recreation Center at 15100 Erwin Street in Van Nuys

-- The Balboa Recreation Center at 17015 Burbank Boulevard in Van Nuys

-- The Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Recreation Center at 14201 Huston Street in Sherman Oaks

-- Westwood Recreation Center, 1350 Sepulveda Boulevard in Westwood

-- Cheviot Hills Recreation Center, 2551 Motor Ave

Road closures:

-- 405 Freeway has reopened in both directions, including all on and off ramps and connectors from the 101 to the SB 405 and the 10 Freeway to northbound 405.

School closures:
