Magic Castle in Hollywood celebrates 55th anniversary

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- It was a big day for the famed Magic Castle in Hollywood, which celebrated its 55th anniversary on Tuesday.

The private club for magicians is home to the Academy of Magical Arts.

The academy is dedicated to the advancement and preservation of the art of magic.

It has grown from humble beginnings to now include over 5,000 members, and it is recognized as the epicenter of the world of magic.
