Tickets to the California Science Center's King Tut exhibit are officially on sale!

EXPOSITION PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Tickets to the California Science Center's King Tut exhibit are officially on sale!

"King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh" is being called the largest King Tut exhibit outside of Egypt, featuring more than 150 artifacts from the tomb of King Tut.

The exhibit marks the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the Egyptian pharaoh's resting place. His tomb was discovered in 1922, which was more than 3,000 years after his death.

Artifacts from King Tut's tomb will be on display at the California Science Center in 2018.

Nearly half of the items on display will be leaving Egypt for the first and last time.

The exhibit opens March 24 and will stay open until January 2019, which is when the exhibit will head to Europe.

Tickets start at about $19.
