PYRAMID LAKE, Calif. (KABC) -- Divers have located the second boater at Pyramid Lake from an apparent boating accident over the weekend.

Deputies found the bow of a boat sticking up out of the water in the 43100 block of Pyramid Lake Road at about 11:20 a.m. Sunday. The boat did not appear to be damaged. Rick Tanovan, a 52-year-old West Covina man, was found beneath the water about 20 to 30 yards away. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Foul play is not suspected, but an investigation is underway to figure what happened.

Tanovan had gone out on the boat with his friend, 64-year-old Jack Thirasack of Baldwin Park. Divers searched Pyramid Lake for days and found his body on Wednesday.

Authorities believe both men drowned. A cause of death will be determined after an autopsy is performed.

Pyramid Lake is a popular boating location and water storage facility off the I-5. It is about an hour away from downtown Los Angeles.

Anyone with information about this incident was urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
