5 dead in Vegas restaurant, Walmart shooting
Two suspects shot and killed two officers before fatally shooting a third person and killing themselves on Sunday.

LAS VEGAS (KABC) -- Two suspects shot and killed two officers before fatally shooting a third person and killing themselves in a Walmart on Sunday, authorities said.

Officer Alyn Beck, 42, and Officer Igor Soldo, 32, were having lunch at CiCi's pizza restaurant around 11:30 a.m. when they were ambushed by the male and female suspects, Sheriff Doug Gillespie said. Both officers were shot at point-blank range. One of the officers was able to fire back at the suspects. it was unclear if the suspects were hit.

Authorities did not confirm reports that the gunmen quickly left the pizza restaurant, yelling, "This is a revolution!"

The two then fled to a nearby Walmart. Authorities said the suspects shot and killed one person in the front doorway of the store. Shortly after, the suspects went to the back of the store, where the woman shot and killed the man before fatally shooting herself, Gillespie said. Police are called their deaths a "suicide pact."

The names of the suspects and the victim killed inside the Walmart have not yet been released.

Police are searching an apartment connected to the suspects, according to sister station KNTV in Las Vegas.

Neighbors said the couple would often talk about killing cops and were anti-government.

More details are expected to be discussed during a news briefing Monday morning.
