3 wounded in Buena Park shootings

BUENA PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- Three people were wounded when gunshots rang out near George Bellis Park in Buena Park early Wednesday morning.

Police received calls about possible shots fired near the park at approximately 1 a.m. Responding officers found two men with gunshot wounds. Authorities also found a third gunshot victim located several blocks away in the 6300 block of Knott Avenue.

All three victims were treated on scene by County Fire Authority personnel and transported to an area hospital. They were all reported to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening wounds.

Investigators did not have many details on the suspect, except that he was wearing black clothing at the time of the shootings. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
