LAC+USC Medical Center seeking to identify patient
Los Angeles County USC Medical Center is attempting to identify a man they say has been hospitalized for five months and is unable to identify himself.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles County USC Medical Center is attempting to identify a man they say has been hospitalized for five months and is unable to identify himself.

The man was found by paramedics near 6th and Alvarado streets near MacArthur Park on Aug. 19, hospital officials said.

The man is awake, but cannot communicate his identity to hospital staff. He did not have any identification cards on his person when he was found, officials said.

Hospital officials described the man as Hispanic, standing about 5 feet, 7 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing about 152 pounds. The man has a medium build and black hair with brown eyes and a mustache.

Officials said the man was able to communicate that his age was 40.

He has no tattoos or other distinguishing markings, but he was wearing black sweatpants and a blue patterned flannel shirt when he was admitted to the hospital, officials said.
