3.1-magnitude earthquake hits San Jacinto
An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.1 struck San Jacinto in Riverside County Sunday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

SAN JACINTO, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.1 struck San Jacinto in Riverside County Sunday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake hit one mile north northwest of San Jacinto at 3:16 p.m. There were no immediate reports of damages or injuries.

Eyewitness News viewers reported feeling the shaking in Hemet, Moreno Valley, Murrieta and Lake Elsinore.
