DUI suspect in custody following crash in Chatsworth that left 2 officers injured

CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A suspected drunk driver is in custody following a Monday morning crash in Chatsworth that injured two LAPD police officers.

The crash happened shortly before noon near Devonshire Street and Variel Avenue, authorities said. A video showed a patrol car and a white pickup truck were involved.

The driver of that truck was taken into custody at the scene for possible DUI.

LAPD described the officers' injuries as "minor."
