CHANNEL ISLANDS (KABC) -- Two baby bald eagles were captured hatching on video and a third one is on the way.

The web camera was set up in Channel Islands National Park, where two eaglets hatched within hours of each other this week. Another one could hatch at any time.

Bald eagles disappeared from the Channel Islands in the 1960s because of pesticides and other human encroachment. But now the eagles are making a comeback and their numbers are steadily growing.
