2 infants nearly drown after falling into swimming pool in Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Two babies nearly drowned when they fell into a swimming pool at a Moreno Valley home.

Authorities received a report of the incident around 5:30 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 11000 block of Steeplechase Drive.

Responding emergency crews rushed the infants to an area hospital in an ambulance. The babies were listed in serious condition.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
