EASTVALE, Calif. (KABC) -- A car lost control and slammed into a home in Riverside County early Monday morning, forcing a family to evacuate.

Investigators said the car tore through a rock wall in Eastvale and crashed into a home in the 13000 block of Dellbrook Street around 2 a.m.

One person suffered a minor injury. Five people who live at the house were displaced, authorities said.

The vehicle caught on fire, but crews were able to get the flames under control quickly.

The cause of the crash was not known.
