5 injured in shooting at park in Pomona; suspect sought

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- Five people were injured in a shooting at a park Pomona.

The shooting happened at Palomares Park on East Arrow Highway around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Police received a call of shots fired, and a little later three men and two women showed up at the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The victims are in stable condition. They told police someone opened fire on them from a car.

No one has been arrested. Police believe the motive for the shooting may be gang related.
