HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- An airman who just arrived home from Qatar surprised his wife and two young daughters at the Fourth of July Parade in Huntington Beach on Friday.

First Lt. Sean C. Bruderer of the U.S. Air Force and had not seen his wife, Tiffany, and their girls in a year. He decided to make his homecoming a surprise.

Bruderer's wife simply thought she had won tickets to the parade, and had no idea he would be in it.

"I have no words. He's very sneaky, and so is everybody else," she said.

Bruderer rode in the last car of a trolley during the parade. As the trolley approached his family, Bruderer hopped off holding red, white and blue leis and a sporting big smile. He hurried over to the shocked trio, and greeted them with hugs and kisses.

"This is just, the best thing in the whole, entire world," his wife said.
