LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The man accused of attempting to abduct two children playing outside their Los Angeles home earlier this month is believed to have struck again.

This time, he's accused of attempting to kidnap a woman at about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of West Washington Boulevard.

The woman was walking on the sidewalk, when the suspect pulled up in a white, Chevrolet van and asked her for directions. At one point, he displayed pornographic images on a cellphone and was exposing his genitals.

The suspect allegedly told the woman in Spanish to, "Get in the van or you know what will happen," Los Angeles police said.

The woman noticed a blue steel handgun inside the van, but immediately left the area and called 911.

The suspect was described as between 30 and 40 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds and having a light complexion, black hair and blue eyes. He had dental braces with blue rubber bands, a light brown mustache and a pot belly.

He was last seen wearing a brown wide-brimmed hat, light blue polo shirt with white stripes and blue jeans.

On Aug. 10, police believe the same man attempted to carry away two young children playing in their apartment complex in the 1700 block of South Westmoreland Boulevard. He fled on foot.
