Best Western hotel employee finds man dead, woman injured in room

CORONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A Best Western employee found a man dead and a woman severely injured inside a hotel room in Corona on Friday.

Corona police were called at about 10:20 a.m. to the hotel in the 1000 block of Pomona Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the man's body and the injured woman.

The woman was taken to Riverside Community Hospital in unknown condition.

Few details were immediately available, as investigators were working on securing a search warrant for the investigation.
