Bicyclist struck, killed in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- A fatal bicycle accident shut down several blocks of Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana on Saturday.

The bicyclist and vehicle collided in the 300 block of North Harbor Boulevard about 5:30 p.m. The rider, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police shut down Harbor Boulevard between First and Fifth streets to investigate.

Police said the driver remained at the scene.
