Body found at Watts school; overdose death suspected

WATTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police responded to a Watts middle school on Monday morning after a body was found on the school grounds.

The body was found off in a corner at Markham Middle School at 104th Street and Compton Avenue at about 7:30 a.m., according to the LAPD.

Police say a man in his 30s or 40s appeared to have died from an overdose around midnight.
