Beverly Hills police chase ends near Hillcrest Country Club; 2 in custody

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- Two chase suspects were taken into custody in Beverly Hills following a search near the Hillcrest Country Club Wednesday morning.

Authorities say the pursuit began around 8:30 a.m. Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the 100 block of N. Swall Drive, and the suspects took off.

The suspects -- a man and a woman -- crashed at Doheny Drive and Burton Way, but they continued to flee.

The chase ended when the suspects stopped in a driveway near the Hillcrest Country Club and fled on foot.

After a search of the area, both suspects were taken into custody just after 10 a.m.
