COMPTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A California Highway Patrol vehicle and two other cars collided in Compton Sunday morning, injuring at least two people.

The crash occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at the intersection of Alondra Boulevard and Wilmington Avenue. One of the cars crashed into a pay phone.

Two people were taken to a hospital with complaints of pain and two CHP officers were not transported to a hospital.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
