Crews battle fire behind Bellflower BBQ restaurant

BELLFLOWER, Calif. (KABC) -- A fire damaged an outbuilding and two vehicles parked near a barbecue restaurant in Bellflower Sunday afternoon.

The blaze erupted in the 9300 block of Alondra Boulevard at about 12:13 p.m., right behind Hambone's BBQ.

Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene and knocked it down within 30 minutes. Restaurant workers were evacuated but no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Alondra Boulevard was closed in both directions as firefighters put out the fire.
