Cal State Northridge police searching for 3 carjackers

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (KABC) -- Cal State Northridge police are searching for two men and one woman suspected of a carjacking on campus.

At about 11:35 p.m. on Friday, one of the suspects approached the victim at a campus parking lot south of Lassen Street. The suspect then pointed a semi-automatic handgun, before demanding the car keys.

All three suspects got into the car and drove off. The car was found abandoned in a nearby neighborhood.

The first male suspect is described as between 19 and 20 years old, 5 feet and 9 inches with medium to dark skin tone. The second male suspect is about the same age and skin tone, 6 feet tall with a mustache. The female suspect is short and stocky with long braids and about 19 or 20 years old.
