JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- In Jurupa Valley, an unexpected delivery turned into a terrifying home invasion robbery.
Dale Frazee said he was making dinner when he heard someone at his door Tuesday night. It was a man in a delivery service uniform with a package.
Frazee said with the holidays just around the corner he thought his brother or sister had sent the package. But he soon realized the man was not after a signature.
"Most of the conversation was, 'Where is the money?'" Frazee said.
The man demanded to see Frazee's bedroom. After showing the man to his room, Frazee was told to lay face down on the ground as the man ransacked his home. Then he was told to count to 100.
"I got as far as 65 and all of the sudden I felt that gun on my head again and he says, 'Keep counting,'" Frazee said.
He said he continued to count and then suddenly got up and ran to his neighbor's home for help. He called 911 and deputies arrived a short time later, but the man was gone.
Investigators do not have a good description of the suspect and will only confirm he may have been wearing some sort of package delivery service uniform. Until someone is caught, neighbors are on the lookout.
Frazee said he doesn't know why he was targeted and fears the man may come back.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has not said much about the case, but they are asking anyone with information to contact them.
