Sheriff's deputies respond to Whittier barricade

WHITTIER, Calif. (KABC) -- Norwalk Sheriff's deputies responded to a barricade situation in unincorporated Whittier on Saturday, authorities said.

No injuries were reported and no evacuations have been issued for the area near Leffingwell Road and Santa Gertrudes Avenue.

The incident began at about 5:15 p.m. No other information was immediately available.
