Disoriented vandalism suspect caught on camera in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KABC) -- A vandal was caught on video in Santa Barbara, and he was clearly not a smooth criminal.

The vandalism happened at a condo complex on the 3300 block of McCaw Avenue on Aug. 2.

The suspect barely makes it up the stairs, tripping halfway. He then kicks over a large potted plant. The plant crashes to the ground, and so does he.

At that point, another person walks up, turns around and walks the other way.

The suspect may have been driving a black Lexus SUV. Anyone who recognizes him is urged to call Santa Barbara police at (805) 897-2386.
