An alleged distracted driver in Utah nearly hit a state trooper who was conducting a traffic stop before rolling her vehicle over several times.
The woman can be seen swerving toward the trooper in dashboard camera footage. Authorities believe the woman had been distracted by her cellphone.
She overcorrected her vehicle and drove it off the side of the road, rolling over several times. She was taken to a local hospital but is expected to survive.
Utah Highway Patrol officials hope the footage helps educate the public about the dangers of distracted driving.
